The title says it all… another week. Another Monday.
Let’s focus on the positive shall we?
Here are the things I’m exited about…
- The hubby is done with school!!! He’s not going for his degree (right now), but he finished his pre-requisites for nursing school. Woo-hoo!
- It’s May! I love the month of May.
- HIMYM (that’s How I Met Your Mother for you non-watchers) is new tonight!
- Chuck, Modern Family, and Cougar Town (among others) are new too
I *heart* good TV - Girls Night Out on Thursday — yay for $2 glasses of wine and good friends
- B’s school’s Spring Fling on Friday. He’s really looking forward to dunking the owner in the dunk tank. LOVE that this do this. Proceeds go to charity
- OSAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD. I don’t normally wish death on people, but yeah he deserves it. A 10-year chapter of our lives is CLOSED.
What are you looking forward to this week?

Yeah for HIMYM! I’ve been watching old ones on whatever channel has them in syndication, and was cracking up last night on the one where Lily and Marshall go away for a weekend and sleep for 18 hours straight in separate beds, then come home and decide they should just get separate beds… hilarious one!!!
BTW- do you watch Dexter? I have to say, I am so happy to see John Lithgow in a comic role again, he will forever haunt me as the Trinity Killer on Dexter!!
Too funny that episode was on in syndication tonight. I love drunk Ted & Barney!
I didn’t watch the season where John Lithgow was on — but I heard about it and it sounds SO CREEPY. I love him as Barney’s dad!
When’s Dan going back? After the summer?
He’s not sure when he’s going back. His next step involves applying to/getting in to a program. If he does get in he’ll have to quit his job and go to school full time. For now, he’d rather concentrate on his current job and see where it goes. I’m just happy he’s happy!
Hey, whatever works. Linda’s husbandy Jimmy was going to school for nursing too and decided to concentrate on his current job instead too.

Ha! That’s funny. He might go back to it someday. He started because he was let go at Ashley and they were SO shady about it. Hopefully that will never happen AGAIN!
oh my gosh congratulations to your husband! Having gone through all of the nursing pre-reqs myself I know what a long and arduous process that can be. I know he’ll do amazingly in nursing school.
Yey for girls night out
I’m really looking forward to a week of nice, sunny, and relatively warm weather. Hopefully my husband will hear something good on the job front as well and we’ll get to travel out to an interview. Fingers crossed!
Hope you have a great start to your week!

Yes! It’s like jumping through hoops. Now he’s taking a break and he’s never even sure he WANTS to go to nursing school. At least he passed all of his classes (and on the first try!).
Good luck to your hubby! It’s scary and exhilarating all at once
I was looking forward to officially starting my C25K training today, but that will have to be postponed. I ended up staying up until 2am last night watching the Bin Laden news and was up until 2am the night before for a wedding. My body is telling me I need to rest because either I am getting sick or will get sick if I don’t rest. Sucks!! Tired of excuses but would rather miss one day and feel better tomorrow than be sick the whole week.
GO TO BED EARLY TONIGHT!
Ok done yelling
Hope you feel better soon!!
Yes ma’aaammmmm.
Thank you! I went to bed early and feel great! Glad I was just really tired and not getting sick! Day 1 starts today!
I am so late on this…ugh I suck!
But that picture completely cracks me up and I had to come comment on it!
This week some of the highpoints/things to look forward to: running dates with a coworker after work, happy hour with work friends on Tuesday, my hubby having THREE interviews this week and a 5K on Saturday morning!!
Is it not the best picture? It’s seriously how I feel EVERY MONDAY.
Yay for you hubby! I hope he gets one of those jobs
And good luck on Saturday!!
