Happy Cinco de Mayo!!
Welcome to another addition of Blog Love! Similar posts can be found here and here.
Here are a few blogs and blog posts I’ve been digging lately…hope you enjoy them too
If there are ever any blogs/blog posts that you think I’m missing out on — let me know!
Like many others, Cate ran Boston. Unlike many others – Cate is 5 months pregnant! The best part? She ran this race with her dad. I just discovered her blog (thanks Twitter!) and I loved every minute of her race recap!
In case you haven’t heard…Tina’s first book was released this week! I haven’t read it (yet), but reading about the process she went through and how humble and amazed she is about writing the book made me SO excited for her. Nothing like living your dream!
Kelly ran the Country Music Marathon in Nashville last weekend with her brother Ben — and really had one of the best recaps I’ve ever read! I love how supportive she was and how much FUN these two had. They made me SO excited to run my first marathon with Paula
In the spirit of Kelly’s marathon — Meghann (Kelly’s sister) wrote a blog post about race buddies that made Paula and I SO excited that we emailed each other and then commented at the exact same time (and said almost the exact same thing). Our goal is to stick together the ENTIRE 26.2 miles and cross the finish together. While we have run 7 half marathons together — we’ve never finished TOGETHER. Things are going to change in Savannah!
These ladies are pretty much the funniest people on the face of this Earth (yes, even trumping Tina Fey) and their Royal Wedding coverage? Did not disappoint! (Start at that link and go forth) If you are not reading their blog you are crazy and missing out. GO THERE NOW.
I love Corey — she’s an awesome (and super fast) runner, she’s so positive even though she is dealing with an injury, and most recently she made a huge decision!!! She (like me) has her undergrad in psychology and (like me) wasn’t really sure what to do with it. Well, she decided! I’m so excited for her new path — getting her MSW.
I LOVED this post that Jenny did on the “energy for awakening”. I’m not usually one for meditation or being introspective, but this really spoke to me. We really do waste our energy and we don’t need to. It’s tiresome and exhausting. We need to stop the leaks!
Now GO READ THESE (if you haven’t already!)…
