Nothing terribly exciting happened today. Work was work. My new schedule (9-5:30 instead of 8:30-5) is taking a little bit to get used to. I am enjoying the extra time with B in the morning though, so it’s worth it π
I was extremely stressed with traffic this afternoon. I almost got rammed by a huge F150. That was fun. I should have just let him hit me – but I probably wouldn’t be here writing this.
Fortunately, I had these gorgeous faces to come home to…
They seriously made my day! {Bonus: No whining tonight!!}
Off to hang out with Don, Betty, Peggy, Pete, Joan and Roger!
What cheers you up?? Does traffic stress you out?
I get super frustrated in traffic! Coffee helps…
Coffee definitely helps! And loud music. Although – sometimes loud music just makes me MORE angry! Ha.
Gah, Orlando traffic during work hours is insane!
Last year I worked at a law firm downtown and getting there at 8:00 AM was not a very fun experience, to say the least..
Chocolate usually does the trick– or some quality time with those that you love π
Yeah – my hubby works near downtown/Balwdin Park and if he doesn’t leave by a certain time he gets all stressed out. We need a commuter rail!!!
Traffic is the worst – especially on East Colonial! It takes a special, ultra-patient breed to be able to deal with it!
Oh yes – and that’s where I spend the majority of my time!! That and near UCF (for work). I can’t win!!!
Who is Don banging now? Has Betty started pissing you off yet? I felt sorry for her at first, but now I want to punch her in the face.
Don is currently out in LA π And Betty hasn’t pissed me off yet – but I feel it coming. I think my favorite character is Peggy. It infurtiates me that “the boys” just think she is sweet and wholesome and totally clueless.
I put the radio on loud and listen to music in bad traffic. I also scream nasty words at stupid people.. oh yeah.. you were in the back seat growing up listening to me!!
Traffic is a nuisance, since my trip to LA I’ve been more forgiving of Houston traffic… I try to make sure I breathe while in traffic and purposely try to calm down. I don’t like to get home all crazy because of other drivers. My hubs used to be like and I hated it so I just try to be aware so I don’t do the same. (He doesn’t have the drive from hell anymore.)
Those are beautiful faces. Mine have been all smiley when I get home too… Typically I hear.. “MOMMY!” when I walk in.. It’s the BEST!!!
Awwww – love it!
