What I’m Lovin’ Lately

August 25, 2011 by Michelle 17 Comments

So interesting to read all of your comments on this morning’s post! I really love that so many of you have either no interest in artificial sweetener or are willing to give it up. You will NOT be sorry!!

I was excited when I got home tonight because my package from Dick’s Sporting Goods (you just can’t write “my package from Dick’s”) arrived!!

Remember when I told you about the gift cards I got from Klout??

This is what I got (plus another running hat!)…

and I’m loving ’em.

{I’m also wearing these shirts over the dress I wore today – ha ha}

I’m also loving these hair pins (if you can’t tell!).

I’m loving the Vietnamese food at had at lunch today and the Red Curry I made for dinner tonight. It was my first time for Vietnamese — and Oh.My.Gawd. Why didn’t anyone tell me I was missing out on some good stuff??? (I also enjoyed the company!)

I’m loving that Fantasy Football starts up SOON (my draft is next Sunday!!!).

I’m loving that COLLEGE football start NEXT WEEKEND!

I’m loving that the new TV Season is about to start.

I’m loving Mad Men while I’m waiting for new TV Season to start. We’re still in Season 2 and savoring every minute.

I’m loving that I’ve had a lot of new readers lately. Thanks for stopping by!!

and finally… I’m loving that tomorrow is Friday.

Ugh, I’m going to make a post tomorrow about everything I’m NOT loving. It’s just been one of those weeks. Baby not sleeping (what, ANOTHER growth spurt?), school starting craziness, and the earthquake/hurricane apocalypse bearing down on us. Seriously, I thought I lived in the mid-Atlantic because we don’t have natural disasters here.

Your “Fear the Spear” t-shirt made me smile though. I kinda want to get you a “Fear the Turtle” shirt to go with it. πŸ˜‰

Sorry it’s been such a rough week! Next week can ONLY get better!!

You silly Terps — who fears a turtle? Hee. πŸ™‚ When does FSU play Maryland this year?

I can’t really support the FSU shirt but I can support your spirit! I was just thinking today that I need some cute new Syracuse tees. All of mine are so old and like giant-sized old-school cotton shirts. Stylin’.

And you’re making me reconsider Mad Men. We watched the first couple episodes of Season 1 and despite the dreaminess of John Hamm, I just couldn’t get into it. One of these days I’ll give it another shot.

I’m with you on the old school shirts. I have one other I got a few years ago from my friend Heather — so it was time!

Definitely give Mad Men another shot. It took a few episodes to learn about all of the characters (and it’s a very character driven show) — and to commiserate with Don, even though he’s a total tool. For some reason, you pity him. Maybe it’s because Jon Hamm is so beautiful? Ha ha.

I HAD to come on over and check out this post after you told me that you had a similar “Things I’m loving” post up.

I love the Spear shirt, however, due to the fact that I’m a UCF student I dont think that I’m allowed to say that :X. Sooo lets just keep that on the down low πŸ˜€

I first tried Vietnamese a few months ago and loved it! It’s so yummy! Sorry I can’t get on board with your FSU shirt. Are we not going to be blog friends the last week of November? πŸ™‚

Sworn enemies that weekend after Thanksgiving — but we can be “frenemies” until then πŸ™‚

Have you tried Miss Saigon? That’s where we went – it was so good! (Not sure how close to UCF you are — I probably wouldn’t venture close if I didn’t have to!)

My friend typed in “banana.com” when we were IN CLASS in grad school — instead of bananarepublic.com. Big mistake!
