I keep pinching myself. Is tomorrow really Friday? Wow! I know part of the reason this week has flown by is that I have a deadline tomorrow at work. You want a fast week? Set a deadline!
While I didn’t get out of bed this morning to do my sprints (I’ll spare you the whining), Thursday did indeed happen and it’s time for another 3 Things Thursday. Prepare yourself for randomness.
1. I gotta brag for a minute — I’m a PROUD parent today!
Not only do we owe B (and L) some gold teeth for being cavity free

But B was named the “Terrific Kid of the Month” for his class.
(Sorry if you’ve already seen this — I’m just so excited for him!)
I’m completely biased, but he has been REALLY terrific lately. Such an improvement over his behavior even 2 months ago! Now we get to go to an awards ceremony during lunch in a few weeks AND we can bring him a “special lunch.” (Is that code for fast food or what??)
2. This week’s music obsession? Mumford and Sons.

I think I have a thing for Brits.
But seriously, where have I BEEN??? I love them times infinity. I’m just very bitter that nobody introduced me to them sooner. WTF people?
3. So, I was informed that between the NBA All-Start Game and the Daytona 500 there are going to be 300,000 EXTRA people in Central Florida this weekend. You can also add in the 20,000 or so people in town for the Disney Princess Half Marathon (maybe more?).
While it’s GREAT for my city — did these events really have to happen all at once? Surely people plan for this kind of stuff, right? Guess I’ll (mostly) be sticking to my side of town!
What music are you obsessing over this week? Anyone else buy Hunger Games tickets yesterday? (*raises hand*)

I love Mumford although they got a little TOO big last year. The Avett Brothers played at Orlando Calling and they were great! I only heard half their set and wish I’d gone to all of it.
