Confession Wednesday: Lazys

I’m not going to sugarcoat this… I’ve been a huge lazy ass this week.

My house is clean, the dishes are washed, the laundry is folded (for the most part), and the sheets are clean. I did none of this.

Nope. My husband gets all of the credit and I am SO not worthy.

Instead I’ve been going to happy hour with friends and coworkers.

HH

Skipping miles to sleep in.

And then feeling guilty about skipping said miles, whining about it, and then doing this workout on the fly.

(I recommend it, but I bet those miles would have felt better)

And I’ve skipped blogging (I’m sure you noticed, right?).

I am so lazy that half of bag from last weekend is still packed (sweaty clothes not included), my menu this week includes a lot of sandwiches (notice I haven’t posted it?), and my hair has gone back into a pony tail almost every day this week. I did shave my legs today. Baby steps.

I’ve also resorted to taking pictures only with Instagram — even though I finally found my battery charger.

But they’re so cute! And it’s so much easier to get them to pose!

The lazys have taken over!! I desperately need to snap out of it. I’m certainly NOT winning any wife or mother of the year awards any time soon. And I NEED to get at least ONE run before Sunday. This lazy ass needs to run in another half marathon!

But first, I think I’m going to sit on the couch and watch a few hours of Veronica Mars.

Have anything you want to confess??

Comments

  1. No lazy till after the 24th allowed. Then engage maximum lazy. With me. And margaritas.

  2. Colleen says:

I ate fish and chips for dinner tonight! … Then felt so guilty I came home and did your 100 work out, minus the running, because I did it in jeans. Figured if I changed, I wouldn’t do anything.

There’s a wedding dress in my near future .. And I’m praying it fits when it gets in. Motivation needed, stat.

  3. julie16750 says:

My last run (and last time I exercised) was last Friday when my Garmin broke mid-run. Instead of running today I was at the UPS store mailing it back. I mentally can’t get out the door knowing I don’t have that stupid watch to tell me exactly how many miles I’ve gone. My “lazy” is starting to stress me out.

Typing this just made me realize how pathetic I am. LOL.

  4. Maryellen says:

Maybe its the solar flare that’s keeping you lazy!

  5. I’ll confess that I haven’t blogged in two days and might even go for three! I have nothing to talk about. I get bored writing workout/what I ate so… until something better comes up the blog is empty!!

    • I’m right there with you! I actually have a million things I could write about it — but then I think “do people really care?” and the answer is always no. Not that people cared about me being lazy – hee!

  6. Vernonica Mars! Now I will have to watch some tonight- love that show so much!

  7. I feel undeserving of Peter ALL the time. Such good men we have.

And, oh boy, do I feel you on wanting to do nothing on occasion. You enjoy it!
