After last week’s successful workout (4 times in one week is a success, right?) I decided I OWED it to my hubby to give him workout/playlist.
This week proved to be no easier than last week – finding the right mix of songs/activities is hard! Not that the hubby REALLY cares about the music. He was able to do the workout using Pandora as well — so if you don’t dig my taste in music (how dare you!) I will pretend not to be offended and assure that you can still do everything on this list by yourself (though you may go longer/shorter).
Here’s this week’s playlist:
And workout:
Total Time is Approximately 47 Minutes.
I call this one The Long Climb. I won’t apologize, but there is a lot of climbing this week (and to songs I LOVE). Your quads, hamstrings, and ass will thank me later.
Remember — I’m not a professional – I just really love cycle/spin. Never do anything that you aren’t comfortable doing or makes you hurt. Do this workout at a speed and resistance that works FOR YOU. That’s the beauty of spin — anyone can do it, at any level.
Any questions? Any requests? Any favorite activities? Let me know!!
I’m dying to try spin, I’m done w/ the semester next week & I’m off to try a spin studio in Winter Park after that! My knee’s been bugging me when running so I’m looking forward to picking up something else, hopefully spin will be it 🙂
You should try the spin studio Paula goes to. You could always join me for a class – but I know I live far, far away from you!
Spin is definitely nicer on my knees. Less impact!
Love reading about your workouts! Great playlist! BTW, I have a book recommendation for you: The Running Dream by Wendelin Van Draanen. It’s a kiddy lit book (I’m a teacher). Quick read- I think you’ll love it!
I’ll have to check it out — thanks!!!
Great playlist Michelle! and i’m so excited to try this spin workout. Thanks for sharing this with us and i’m looking forward to read more from you.
