Since I’ve been spending so much time on the treadmill lately, I thought I would share one of the treadmill workouts (and playlists) that has been keeping me (somewhat) motivated. It’s NOT an easy run. But it’s fast.
When I marathon training I would NOT call this workout “speedwork.” It does not involve 800s, 400s, ladders, or mile repeats – but I’m telling you – this workout has made me run FASTER than any speedwork I’ve done (on the treadmill at least). So if you’re looking for a speedy run that may or may not qualify as speedwork – this is it!

This is probably a 3.5 mile run for me – depending on my mood. I admit I may not finish it completely – I’ll usually stop once I hit 3 miles, but it is kinda fun to base a running workout on MUSIC and not on distance or pace.
What’s on your go-to workout playlist? A lot of my recent favs are on this list. I LOOOOVE running to dance music!

You’re so speedy!! I’m a turtle compared to you. I love running to catchy, poppy songs. Call Me Maybe is perfect

Oh I love this idea! Especially on the treadmill… it’s nice to not have to constantly be watching the distance to hit the repeats and such!

I figured — if it could work for spinning, it could work for the treadmill – and it does! Why didn’t I eve do this before?
