Because of my ridiculous “neck injury” (you know, when I hurt myself putting on a shirt) I actually got to do a few on my spin workouts out this week – and no joke, they kicked my ass.
Proof:
Thankfully, my neck is on the mend. My chiropractor immediately knew my left side was jacked up (before I said anything – he may be nutty, but he’s legit) and used the bone-shocking -thing-a-ma-jig on it tonight. It’s still tense, but I was able to go on a run – so things are looking up!
This week’s workout is a shorty. It would have been nice to have this workout on Monday when I was short on time, but REALLY wanted to get a workout in. Instead I just cut another ride short, but this one would have been better!
The playlist – random as always.
The workout
If you’ve missed any of my previous workouts….here you go!

- Spin #2 (47 minutes)
- Spin #3 (48 minutes)

- Treadmill #1 (and currently only)
To be honest, I thought it would be weird to just hop on a spin bike when I wasn’t in class (the bikes are lined up against the outside of the workout room) — but it wasn’t at all! Nobody looked at me twice. That’s why I love the gym. You can do the craziest sh*t and people just think “eh, she’s just working out.”
Do you belong to a gym? What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen?
YES! I am so glad you have short ones – long stints on the bike don’t seem to be doing my knee any favors (maybe I push it to much, but that is neither here nor there) but short ones are OK so now I can finally try one of your workouts. I AM SO EXCITED!
Yay!!!! Let me know how it goes 🙂
I need to try one of your spin workouts. They have the same spin bikes at my gym.
When I was at LA Fitness, people would hop up on the spin bikes in the empty room when no class was in session all the time. I definitely don’t think it’s a big deal. Way to get in a workout even if it was short!
