Who is having an AWESOME birthday?
Yep. This girl.
I started the day with a big “Happy Birthday!” from the gym check-in woman — and then followed it up with a sweatastic spin workout.
Working out on your birthday means negative calories, right?
At work, my coworkers (and some of my best friends) decorated my cube and took me out to lunch.
Thai Singha. Yum.
The best part though (besides the gazillion FB messages and tweets!)? Coming home to this:
I was greeted with a “birthday cake” (chips, gums, and snacks – my hubby is so creative!), decorations (B called the streamers “strippers” – awesome), and wine.
AND a new hair dryer that the sales guy at Ulta said was “super awesome and cute.”
My old dryer was at least 8 years old and dying a slow death. This is a big yay!!
I am SO spoiled!
I have to say it’s been a pretty great birthday.
My 34th year has a lot to live up to — 33 was PRETTY damn amazing. I packed SO MUCH into last year — a marathon, 6 half marathons, a trip to Vegas, another trip to Vegas, AND a trip to San Francisco and Sonoma. I don’t think this year can compete, but there’s no doubt in my mind that it’s going to be another great year. I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
