I didn’t have a chance to update my workouts from Best Body Bootcamp from Week 5 – so heres a combo update on weeks 5 AND 6.
I REALLY struggled to fit 5 workouts into Week 5 — and I almost didn’t. I almost took Thursday off, but realized I wasn’t going to work out on Sunday and that would screw up the whole week. I COULD have done an extra workout while we were at the beach, but I really wanted to spend as much time with family as possible and I DID NOT want to wake up early! In my opinion, 5 workouts is pretty awesome. There was a time in my life where I barely got in 3!
As for Week 6 — considering I was traveling, I have to give myself a pat on the back. Fitting in the workouts was not easy, nor did I have the motivation the majority of the time, but you truly never regret a workout.
And just like that we’re entering the home stretch of Bootcamp! I just received my email for Phase 4 (weeks 7 & 8) and I’m excited for the next round of workouts. Bring on the PAIN!
I didn’t take any before and after shots, but I can definitely see a difference in my body thanks to these workouts. My legs are more defined (I SWEAR my cellulite is diminishing — is this possible?) and I actually have arm and shoulder muscles. However, I do think the best part of this experience has been that I learned more about what my body CAN do — and that I CAN do different workouts ON MY OWN without feeling like a total fool. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s definitely been worth it!
