1. I’m going to see a sneak preview this movie tonight and I’m just a little bit excited.
I also get to hang out with this girl and my friend Jackie (but not Jackie Jovi). I’m hogging all of the Jackie’s in this world as friends, by the way.
2. Because I’m going to this movie (which has been on my calendar for weeks), I am skipping Open House at B’s school. I feel like the worst parent in the world.
OK, maybe not.
I actually have no idea what goes on during Open House because I had to miss it last year too. I think I was traveling for work or something. So basically my husband is a Saint for going two years in a row without me and battling all of those PTA parents (oh, and taking the kids with him during dinner time!). I’m sure that the teachers wonder what is going on with us. I’d like to think I’m adding a little gossip to the school.
3. I keep forgetting to tell you my exciting news! I was selected as a Zooma Ambassador for Florida!
They a have a new race (5K and Half Marathon) in BEAUTIFUL Amelia Island that’s happening on January 19th. Is anyone out there planning on running it? If you register before Nov. 4th they are offering a Training Care Package. Not sure what’s in this care package but it sounds like it will be full of products essential to training and some fun goodies as well. So come on — RUN WITH ME (there’s wine at end!)!!
