Well…another week done. Can you believe Thanksgiving is in two weeks? Where has 2012 gone? This week was not quite as busy or draining as last week, but it still came with its own set of challenges. Keeping things in perspective though… things are pretty damn good.
Today I am thankful for…
Living in a country where it is a RIGHT for ANY U.S. citizen to vote. At the same time it’s not mandatory, and my life isn’t threatened based on any choices I make. Even if I chose to vote for Roseanne Barr.
Having a flexible job where I can make my family a priority and not feel like I am giving up a part of my soul.
Teachers. I’m talking about the teachers I’ve had, the teachers my kids have (and have had), and teachers I’m friends with… they impact my life more than they will ever know.
My family for eating *almost* anything I cook without complaint.Even it’s a crazy pregnancy craving meal.
Laughs, giggles, smiles, and sarcasm. These things make my world go round…
What are you thankful for this week?
Great post! I should really do more posts like this as well. I need to concentrate more on what I’m thankful for than what I wish I had, etc. One thing I’m definitely thankful for is that I have a job that I love and amazing coworkers.
A great job AND great coworkers are hard to find – it’s definitely something to be thankful for 🙂
Love this post! Boy, am I thankful for sarcasm! I think it is my number one coping mechanism! 😉
Me too! Well, that and sulking. Ha ha.
