ZOOMA Couch to Race Day Program

I have an exciting opportunity to share with some of you non-runners — that WANT to run a race (ZOOMA Florida)… ZOOMA’s Couch to Race Day Program!

ZOOMA has paired with Muscle Milk Light to offer this incredible program for one participant — all you have to do is have the desire to run a 5K (that’s 3.1 miles!) and apply. If you’re picked you get all of these perks…

  • Support network from the Florida race ambassadors
  • Training Plan
  • Education: dietician meeting to help you learn how to fuel for your runs
  • Cross training: yoga session at local studio
  • Gear
  • Race entry into ZOOMA Florida 5k
  • Recovery: Muscle Milk Light
  • Hotel: Race weekend accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island
  • Spa: Celebrate your race accomplishment with a post-race spa treatment

        I applied. Scared and excited at the same time. I love 5K’s but I’ve never run one!

    Hmmm…maybe not this year. I just stopped breastfeeding M this past weekend and finally feel like my body is mine again. I’m just going to relax into it and enjoy with lots of yoga and some walks. But I have a feeling that late 2013 might have me trying something like this. Thanks for putting the idea in my head!
